It’s that time of year again! Christmas carols are echoing through the stores, trees are being decorated, and the ever-popular gift guides are rolling out across Buzzfeed. One of my favorite things about the holiday season is thinking of the special people in your life, reflecting on some great memories, and finding the perfect gift to show your appreciation. This year, I wanted to kick-off my holiday posts with a DIY gift guide.
Growing up, I was very fortunate to have a family that went above and beyond every little kid’s expectation from Santa Claus. As I got older, I realized it’s not about spending hundreds of dollars, but rather spending time with those that matter in your life and creating some fun gifts for one another in the process. Kyle and I spent our Sunday afternoon making some DIY-gifts and I thought I’d share my holiday gift ideas with you.
These gifts are super easy and inexpensive so, you probably don’t even have to go out any purchase anything. Much of what I used were from items I already owned. Yay for upcycling! If you recreate any of these gifts, be sure to tag me on social media using @kimberleyxlynn Hope you enjoy the video!
